Augusta Wrestling Club was founded in 1970 by Larry Gentzler as a feeder club for Augusta High School.  AWC and its coaching staff strive to build a foundation of technically sound wrestling, and play a major role in the development of character and discipline in the lives of the children they coach.  AWC has sent over 200 wrestlers from the ages 4 to 18 to compete at the state and national levels.

Wrestling starts Nov. 8, 2010 at AMS wrestling room from 6-8 pm Mon. Tue. and Thurs.

Wrestlers need to wear work out shorts and t-shirts, NO jeans or cut offs, NO shorts with zippers NO Tennis shoes on mats, there are wrestling shoes that you may borrow until you get your own, first come only!! Parent's meeting will be Nov. 15 at AMS cafeteria between 7-7:30 pm. Please contact Mike Ashenfelter (641-3304) if any questions arise
